Agreement
These terms are the agreement between you and Sophos Kids for use of our app and website. By using Sophos Kids, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What Sophos Kids is
Sophos Kids is a private memory keeper for your family. You record moments about your children; after a day with new moments, a gentle morning digest and updates to the skill map are created from their words. Each week, the service also prepares a look back and a guide for the week ahead from digest summaries and the answers your family chose to submit. It is a keepsake for your family — not a medical, diagnostic, or developmental-assessment tool.
Who can use it
You must be an adult able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for your account and for everyone you invite into your family.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email — there is no password. Keep control of your email account, and keep your device secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Your content is yours
You own the content you provide. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, show it to the family members you invite, back it up, and process it to provide the daily and weekly reads described in our privacy policy. If you choose To text, that permission also covers sending the selected voice memo for transcription. You confirm that you have the right to add what you submit, including the photos, videos, recordings, and information of other people, such as your children and other family members.
Acceptable use
Use Sophos Kids for your own family's memories. Don't use it to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
The digest and guides are supportive, not professional advice
Your morning digests, skill map, guides, and weekly reviews and plans are gentle, encouraging observations meant to be enjoyed with your family. They are generated by software and AI, may be imperfect or wrong, and are never a measurement, score, or comparison of your child. They are not medical, psychological, or developmental advice. For any concern about your child's health or development, please consult a qualified professional.
A free service, provided as is
Sophos Kids is free to use today. We may change, add, or remove features over time, and we may introduce paid features in the future with notice. The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and we can't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Please keep your own copy of anything important by using export.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sophos Kids is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Exporting your record regularly is the best protection for your memories.
Ending your use
You can delete your family or your account at any time; both take effect after a 14-day grace period you can cancel. We may suspend or end access that abuses the service or breaks these terms.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows the last change, and continuing to use Sophos Kids means you accept the update. Questions are welcome at support@sophos.kids.
