For the age of intelligent machines

Raise a wise child.

Machines will always know more. Wisdom — the will to act, and the eye for what is true, good, and beautiful — is built at home, from age two, by you. Sophos Kids keeps your child's small wonders, and quietly shows you the wisdom developing inside them.

Saved instantly — read gently overnight.

Why this exists

Your child will never out-know a machine.

Knowledge is now abundant — a machine already holds more of it than any of us ever will. An education that mainly piles up facts trains a child for a race that is already lost, and was never worth winning.

What makes them human is not how much they know.

It is wisdom: the will to act, and the eye for what is true, good, and beautiful. Machines calculate, retrieve, optimize. They do not want, do not choose, do not cherish.

Wisdom is not taught in any classroom.

It is grown at home, inside ordinary moments — a kept promise, a fallen tower, a long look at the moon. Its window opens around age two, earlier than any school.

And its first teacher is you.

The map

One map of a developing mind

We drew the whole of it — what wisdom is made of, and what builds on what — so you never have to guess.

In the app this map becomes your child's skills. Each star only ever brightens — the map never loses a skill.

The three studies

A whole education has three studies

Their windows open in order — and the first one opens years before school.

What this app servesfrom age 2

Wisdom

The formation of the person — autonomy and discernment. Grown at home, inside daily life, starting before anything else.

Mentor: you

from age 4

Language

The instruments of conversation — natural languages for people, formal languages for machines, mathematics for the cosmos.

Mentor: you, then teachers

from age 6

Knowledge

The material of the world — the apparatus the trained faculties practice on, once school begins.

Mentor: teachers

For the other two, the world is full of teachers. For the first, there is only you.

How it works

A day with Sophos Kids

The whole method fits inside an ordinary day.

A parent kneeling beside a child at golden hour, catching a small wonder
By day

Catch the moment

The first "because", the shared turn, the long look at the moon — one tap, a line or a photo, saved instantly. No analysis, no grades. A memory is never a means to anything.

Overnight

The day is read, gently

Around midnight, everything you kept that day is read together — one calm look at the whole day — and mapped onto the skill map. Nothing is scored. Things are noticed.

In the morning

A small gift with your coffee

When the overnight read finds something to share, a warm digest arrives: yesterday's moments, what they revealed, and at most one gentle idea to try next. Otherwise, the morning simply stays quiet — no streaks, no guilt.

The skill map, and what to do next

Your child's skills appear as cards on a map that only ever fills in. Every card opens a guide — what to arrange, what to ask, what to notice, what to avoid — written for real, tired, loving parents.

Our promises

Built so love never turns into anxiety

Never compares

No norms, no percentiles, no "ahead" or "behind". Anywhere. Ever.

Never tests

Capacities are noticed in ordinary life — no quizzes, no drills, no checking.

Skills only move forward

The skill map never loses a skill. Circling back is progress, not loss.

Private by design

Your family's moments belong to your family — and one day, to your grown child.

No streaks, no guilt

At most one gentle note each morning. Quiet days stay quiet.

A father's note

I am a software engineer. I can build most things whenever I choose — but not this one.

My son is two. This year he is learning whether words can be trusted, whether trying again is worth it, whether the moon is worth staring at. He is learning it from me — whether or not I know what I am doing.

I looked for a tool that would help me do this deliberately, the way there are tools for every lesser thing. It didn't exist. So I built it — for him first, and now for you.

He is not waiting for me. Neither is your child.
